Frankl teaches that the human being is fundamentally oriented towards the search, realization, and experience of meaning in his life. The lack of the fulfillment of meaning can lead to mental disorders and diseases in life. Psychical disorders and diseases can, vice versa, constrain the ability of a person to experience meaning.
Logotherapeutic psychotherapy is a form of talking therapy. In the center is the person with his own, very personal concerns. Logotherapy is always oriented towards resources and solutions and tries to discover the open spaces that always remain despite a disorder or a disease and to find potentials and thus guide people to a value- and meaning oriented life in full autonomy.
Approaches using imagination can be applied as a supporting method - especially Imaginative Logotherapy and Existential Analysis as developed at our Institute. These facilitate a deep access to unconscious content and thus support realization, clarity, and healing.
All psychic disorders that are treatable on an outpatient basis can be included into the therapeutic concept. We offer individual therapy as well as couple and group sessions.
The main focus of our Institute is on training and personal development. Thus we can only offer a small contingent of therapy places.
