General terms and conditions of the Institute for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis, Salzburg

The Institute for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis is located in 5020 Salzburg, Berchtesgadner Straße 11.


Purpose, tasks and objective

Main tasks of the Institute are the preservation, (scientific) further development, advancement, propagation, and teaching of the ideas of Viktor E.Frankl, the founder of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis ("Third Viennese School of Psychotherapy" or "meaning-centered psychotherapy"), of his students and related scientific developments. In particular, we subject "Imaginative Logotherapy and Existential Analysis" in the form developed by this institute to a continous scientific, theoretical, and practical review and develop it further. To this end, the institute collaborates with other associations and organisations, especially with institutions and training centres, where research, teaching, and application of Logotherapy are practised and further developed. Partnerships and cooperations can also be established.

The Institute for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis - Salzburg offers continuos education programs and qualification courses, as well as instruction courses, seminars, supervisions, lectures, consulting, counseling, coaching, therapy, and the like. After completion of a training program and in the presence of the respective logotherapeutic qualifications, the institute issues certificates. It is the task of the institute to establish continuous education guidelines and develop them further with regard to practical professional requirements. As far as the institute offers training programs that also lead to nationally recognised qualifications, all legal requirements are fulfilled and the curricula are developed and adapted according to the given requirements.


Registration for training programs or other events is always in writing. For the government-certified course resp. for all training programs that take longer than one semester, a CV with photograph and relevant transcripts need to be submitted. After submission, the applicant will be invited for an interview. No later than one month after receipt of the written registration, the applicant will be informed regarding his admission status.

Registration for individual events is possible via telephone or in writing, via email or Internet. Registrations are dealt with in the order of their receipt and are binding.

The data of the course participants are registered electronically. No data will be passed on, for whatever purposes, without prior consent of the participants.


Costs - Contributions
The course fees due are to be paid immediately after receipt of the invoice. Only after payment of the fees, participation is assured. All prices are in Euro and inclusive of the statutory VAT of 20%.


In case of cancellation of a registration within one month before start of a course, the entire course fee is due. In case of cancellation of a registration within three to one months before start of a course, half the course fee is due. In case of discontinuation while the course is underway, the entire fee invoiced up to then is due.


Change or cancellation of events
In case of cancellation of events requiring registration, the registered participants are informed of changes and cancellations in writing or by telephone.


The organiser excludes any liability in the frame of the legal possibilities. Participants visit our events at their own responsibility.
